SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a highly skilled Fraud Data Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in mitigating transactional fraud by leveraging data to uncover insights, enhance decision-making, and optimize fraud detection models. This role focuses on minimizing fraud losses while ensuring minimal disruption to legitimate transactions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine fraud detection models for payment processes.
Assess client risk profiles and adjust detection models and thresholds as needed.
Troubleshoot system anomalies and resolve issues efficiently.
Monitor system performance using industry metrics and client-specific data.
Manage and integrate new fraud data feeds as required.
Provide technical insights and data support to business teams.
Contribute to ad hoc fraud investigations and analytics projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

AWS experience is a must – Candidates without AWS experience will not be considered.
MSc or BSc in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in fraud detection, data analytics, or statistical modeling.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, SQL, and data wrangling techniques.
Experience with big data analytics, scripting, and programming.
