Description

A dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager is sought to oversee the daily operations of two restaurants and events on a working farm. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational, operational, and customer service skills, who can maintain high standards across diverse offerings while embracing the unique challenges of a farm-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Restaurant Operations

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities of both restaurants, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

• Menu Collaboration: Work closely with chefs and culinary teams

• Quality Control: Ensure food quality, service, and presentation consistently meet or exceed expectations.

• Customer Experience: Monitor guest satisfaction and handle customer feedback professionally to continuously improve service.

Event Management

• Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of farm-based events, including weddings, corporate events, and private functions.

• Team Oversight: Coordinate with the event staff to ensure seamless delivery, from setup to breakdown.

• Budget and Profitability: Develop budgets, manage costs, and track financial performance for all events.

Team Leadership and Development

• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant and event staff, including chefs, servers, and event coordinators.

• Scheduling: Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across restaurants and events.

• Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a positive work environment.

Financial Management

• Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for the restaurants and events.

• Inventory Control: Oversee procurement and inventory management to ensure cost efficiency.

• Sales and Reporting: Track revenue, sales, and profit margins; provide regular financial reports to management.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.

• Risk Management: Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Degree or diploma in hospitality, food and beverage management, or a related field.

• Experience: 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing food and beverage operations, with experience in events management preferred.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.

• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

• Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
