SUMMARY:
NDC Personnel & Contractors is currently seeking a dedicated Food Safety Manager to join an FMCG team in Durban.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in Food Safety Management Systems within the FMCG industry. People management experience is essential to fulfilling this role.

As the Food Safety Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing safety, health, risk, and environmental standards to ensure the well-being of employees and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your main tasks include inspecting workplaces for safety, enforcing laws, and developing and implementing SHEQ systems. You will be charged with investigating complaints, incidents and corrective actions and facilitating SHEQ, production, and food safety audits
