Job Description

Kauai, a leading health food restaurant, is seeking a Food Prep Kitchen Crew member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various food preparation tasks in our kitchen and Juice Bar environment.

Job Duties:

• Prepare food items according to recipes and instructions
• Operate juice bar equipment for preparing healthy beverages
• Make coffee following specified procedures
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Matric qualification
• Relevant experience in food preparation

Knowledge and Skills:

• Food preparation techniques
• Juice bar preparation
• Basic maths skills for recipe measurements
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal culinary training or certification
• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a busy restaurant environment where you will be required to stand for extended periods and work with various kitchen equipment and tools. The position involves weekend shifts.
