Fleet Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Transport and Logistics industry is looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join their team at their regional office. The successful candidate will oversee fleet operations, driver management, and vehicle maintenance to ensure exceptional service delivery within client SLAs

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Matric (National Senior Certificate)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in the transport/logistics industry
• Must have a proven track record managing a portfolio of customers
• Strong fleet management experience, including route planning, trip scheduling, and driver management
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential
• Must have experience in budget control, reporting, and operational efficiency
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license is essential
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts if required
• Experience with fleet management software or tracking systems will be advantageous
• Client is open to candidates willing to relocate if experience justifies it
