Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Support Technician with expertise in
devices, Wireless Networks, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to work
under pressure.In this role, you will be responsible for configuring network equipment, working with Fiber
Network Operators (FNOs), providing phone-based customer support, and assisting remote
technicians with network configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot VOIP equipment such as phones, PBX and Session Border
Controllers.
• Collaborate with Fiber Network Operators (FNOs) to facilitate network connectivity and
troubleshoot issues.
• Provide exceptional phone-based customer support, addressing technical inquiries and
resolving network-related problems.
• Able to efficiently and effectively deal with support tickets, ensuring problems and
resolutions are documented.
• Assist remote technicians with network configurations, offering guidance and
troubleshooting assistance.
• Setup and manage email accounts for clients as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and customer
interactions.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting MikroTik network equipment.
• Experience with wireless equipment (Ubiquiti, Cambium, SIAE, Mikrotik, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work in rotation shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on phone-based
customer support.
• Experience with setting up email accounts and assisting clients (POP, Exchange).
• Familiarity with networking protocols, routing, and IP addressing.
• Knowledge of Fiber Network Operator (FNO) infrastructure and operations is a plus.
• Certification in MikroTik (e.g., MikroTik Certified Network Associate - MTCNA) is
preferred.
• Certifications like A+ N+ will be a bonus.
• Understanding of wireless technologies will be required.
