Fire & Security Engineer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Plan and organize work efficiently, ensuring full understanding of project needs
Troubleshoot, investigate, maintain, and upgrade security and life safety systems
Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Showcase system operations to clients and operators with clarity and expertise

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in fire and security systems, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills, with a proven ability to understand and interpret project requirements to ensure efficient execution
Skilled in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire and security systems, including repairs and system upgrades
Experienced in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices, consistently adhering to safety protocols
Proficient in demonstrating system operations to clients and system operators, ensuring clear communication and understanding of system functionality

Qualification:
Preferred qualifications include an Engineering qualification such as an Electronic Security Systems or Electrical Craft Certificate (QQI Level 6 or equivalent)
A Safe Pass is preferred, but not essential
