POSITION INFO:

My client in the insurance sector who was established almost 100 years ago is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Manager to join their finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial integrity of the operations and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Duties:

Oversee the month-end close process
Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS
IFRS reporting
Collaborate with auditors
Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
Budgeting and forecasting
Financial analysis

Education and Experience:

CA (SA)
A minimum of 3 years long term insurance experience would be advantageous
