Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead our financial reporting function and ensure accuracy, compliance, and insightfulness in our financial disclosures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and improving our financial reporting processes, working with cross-functional teams, and providing high-quality financial data to support business decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate the consolidation of financial results and present comprehensive financial reports to management, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Manage all internal and external reporting timelines and requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Audit & Regulatory Liaison:
• Act as the primary liaison with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, addressing queries and ensuring compliance.
• Ensure all regulatory and tax submissions are completed accurately and on time, in line with current legislation.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement:
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting systems and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
• Financial Analysis & Insights:
• Provide insightful analysis of financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
• Support senior management with financial insights to inform strategic planning, risk assessment, and corporate decision-making.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting team to ensure strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of financial data and processes.

• CA(SA) qualification (required).
• Minimum 2-3 of experience in financial reporting, preferably in Manufacturing
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and other relevant reporting standards.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and audit procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools (experience with [specific software, if relevant] is advantageous).
