SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with experience in the insurance sector to join our client’s dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk management within a fast-paced and evolving industry.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS 17 and other relevant accounting standards.
Manage statutory reporting, regulatory submissions, and liaise with the Prudential Authority.
Conduct risk assessments and implement financial controls to support sound decision-making.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to optimize financial performance.
Drive process improvements and ensure strong governance frameworks.

Key Requirements:

CA(SA) qualification with post-articles experience in insurance (life or short-term).
Strong knowledge of IFRS 17, SAM, and regulatory reporting within the insurance industry.
Experience in financial modeling, risk management, and strategic financial planning.
