SUMMARY:
A Professional Finance Advisory and Consulting Company in Pretoria, requires the full-time services of a Junior to Intermediate Financial Modeler with experience in the energy sector or with project financial modelling knowledge to join their dynamic team. Relevant qualifications in Maths, Statistics, Finance or Actuarial with 1-2+ years' financial modelling experience, knowledge of capital projects advantageous. Offering an exciting career opportunity in supporting financial and transaction advisors on complex project finance transactions, through detailed financial modelling, with international projects exposure.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities
Advanced financial modeling in Excel
Supporting financial and transaction advisors
Detailed financial modelling in the energy sector and project finance specific financial modelling
Financial Modelling team leadership

Desired Experience and Qualifications

- Academic qualification essential
o Degree - B Com / Finance / Maths / Statistics / Actuarial
o Or any financial / maths related degree
o Does not need CFA or specialist finance

- Expectations and experience
o Strong knowledge of Excel, including VBA
o Understanding of project finance requirements
o Experience of energy sector or detailed project finance models
o Financial model compilation and review
