SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Financial Manager in Corporate Finance to play a key role in supporting and overseeing our company’s financial operations. As a Financial Manager you will ensure accurate financial record-keeping, manage accounts, process payroll, and maintain compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial background, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
Record-Keeping & Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records (invoices, receipts, expense reports).
Record all financial transactions using the company’s accounting software.
Complete and finalize financial statements.

Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts regularly.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up to ensure prompt collection of outstanding invoices.

Payroll Support:

Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in compensation, deductions, and taxes.
Record payroll expenses and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Generate periodic financial reports (profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements).
Provide financial insights and summaries to support decision-making.
Prepare audit packs and engage with auditors during financial reviews.

Compliance & Regulatory Requirements:

Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings).
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors or accountants as required.

General Administrative Duties:

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Provide financial support to other departments as needed and respond to financial inquiries

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial management.
Exposure to investments and portfolio accounting is an advantage.
Proficiency in Sage Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills preferred).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
