Duties:

• E-Commerce Reconciliation: Manage financial reconciliations
• Retail Store Operations: Oversee financial reconciliations
• Variance Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of gross profit percentages and identify variances.
• Accounting and Reconciliations: Review and sign off on accounting records and monthly reconciliations.
• Management Accounts: Prepare monthly management accounts
• Budget Preparation: Lead the annual budgeting process.
• Audit Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting, including managing Forward Exchange Contracts (FECs).
• Foreign Currency Payments: Handle foreign currency transactions (USD, Euro, AED, GBP).
• VAT and Tax Compliance: Review VAT, manage queries, and ensure tax compliance, including income tax calculations.
• Team Management: Supervise the Accountant and Cashbook Clerk.
• Payroll Facilitation: Ensure accurate and timely payroll payments.
• Shareholder Reporting: Provide financial reporting to the shareholder company.
• Bank Reporting: Manage reporting on loans and facilities with the bank.
• ERP and System Setup: Set up new stock integrations on the ERP system
• Cost/Expense Review: Review and manage company expenses.
• Advertising and Marketing: Manage advertising and marketing spend, coordinating with brands for approval.
• Bank Signatory: Act as a signatory on various bank accounts.

• Matric (Garde 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours Accounting / CTA
• CA(SA)

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar financial management role.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce and retail financial operations.
• Proven experience in foreign currency payments and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
• Proven leadership in managing a financial team
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
