SUMMARY:
A well-established and dynamic group of companies based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and driven Financial Manager to lead and manage the full finance function. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to executive management, offering the opportunity to influence strategic financial decisions across multiple business entities.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full accounting function across the group, including financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance.
Prepare and present monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and drive financial efficiency across the group.
Ensure statutory compliance, including SARS submissions, audits, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and key stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Drive financial planning, cost control, and business partnering initiatives.

Requirements:

Qualified CA(SA).
Minimum of 6 years’ post-article experience, preferably within a group of companies.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial regulations.
Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP, or similar).
Proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven mindset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
