SUMMARY:
Calling on all seasoned financial managers with a background in the trucking environment interested in an opportunity with one of my rapidly growing distribution clients in the Johannesburg north.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
The business is a subsidiary of a distribution group of companies with nearly 2 decades in operation.
They are looking for an experienced financial manager to head up the strategic direction of their newly formed trucking business unit.

The main key duties of the successful incumbent will be to provide financial reports, analysis and courses of action to support management decisions.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom – Non neg!
5 years’ experience in a similar role – in a logistics/warehousing/supply chain environment of which at least 3 years must be in a trucking environment
Must have staff management experience
Knowledge on SAP – or similar ERP system

Key Responsibilities:

Daily reporting
Budget and forecasting
Variance analysis
Staff management
