SUMMARY:
Calling on all seasoned Financial Managers with a background in the trucking environment, who are interested in an opportunity with a rapidly growing distribution client in Johannesburg North.

POSITION INFO:
The business is a subsidiary of a distribution group of companies with nearly 2 decades in operation.

They are looking for an experienced Financial Manager to head up the strategic direction of their newly formed trucking business unit.

The key duties of the successful incumbent will be to provide financial reports, analysis and courses of action to support management decisions.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom – Non-negotiable!
5 years’ experience in a similar role – in a logistics/warehousing/supply chain environment, of which at least 3 years must be in a trucking environment
Must have staff management experience
Knowledge on SAP – or similar ERP system

Key Responsibilities:

Daily reporting
Budgets and forecasting
Variance analysis
Staff management
