SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance and timely reporting while managing key financial functions.

POSITION INFO:
Nature of employment: The successful incumbent will be employed on a permanent basis after completion of a probationary period.

Experience

The successful incumbent must possess at least five (5) years’ experience as financial management, financial experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
The successful incumbent must possess management experience.

Formal qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or a related field.
Valid driving license code 08
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Experience on accounting software

Responsibilities

Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and expense tracking.
Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) for management review.
Maintain financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory.
Ensure tax compliance, including VAT and statutory filings.
Support internal and external audits.
Monitor and manage cash flow for financial stability.
Track and manage assets with proper depreciation schedules.
Handle multi-currency transactions and ensure foreign exchange compliance.
