SUMMARY:
Well-established company based in Hyde Park / Sandton is seeking a Financial Manager from retail to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting (or a related field).
3 years’ articles with a medium-sized firm.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of commercial experience in the retail sector.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to manage and review work rather than performing tasks themselves, with a solid understanding of the work.
Career stability is critical—no history of job hopping.
Must have experience managing staff.

Duties:

Daily, weekly, and monthly updates of the cash flow forecast.
- Timely and accurate reporting on cash flow.
- Analyze variances between forecasted and actual cash flow to mitigate risks.
Oversee the annual budgeting process, including rolling budgets and forecasts.
Provide support to the Group CFO and operational finance team as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced Excel proficiency.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with foreign creditors and foreign exchange (advantageous).
Up-to-date knowledge of full IFRS (advantageous).
