Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Financial Manger CA (SA) to manage and lead the finance function of the company to ensure the implementation of financial policies and systems that meet the needs of the organization and support the achievement of the companies strategic objectives.

EDUCATION

• Chartered Accountant (SA)

• 5 years relevant financial experience of which 3 should be in a senior management role.
• Experience in implementing a ERP system

1. Reviews and develops financial and management systems and policies to ensure sound governance and internal control systems.
2. Reviews cost structures and management practices of the organisation and identifies areas for change and improvement in order to ensure the finance department contributes effectively to the profitability and commercial success of the organisation.
3. Develops, monitors and oversees the management of operational and capex expenditure budgets across the organisation to ensure the most effective utilisation of financial resources and maintenance of costs within budgets.
4. Monitor and manage actual performance against budgets and forecasts. Analyse and explain variances and ensure corrective action is taken.
5. Manage the costing function of Raw Milk to a Finished Product.
6. Manage the pricing function to ensure that pricing is competitive and in line with the organisation pricing strategy.
7. Ensure rebates claimed by customers are in accordance with agreed terms.
8. Ensure management reporting is timeous and accurate.
9. Manage and oversee the financial management information function to ensure the provision of timeous and accurate information. This includes the management of the following departments financial accounting & reporting, Debtors, Creditors and Cash book
10. Trains and manages Finance staff to ensure they have the skills required by the organisation and are able to achieve their performance objectives.
11. Ensuring the successful completion of the Annual External Audit.
12. Ensuring the company meets all its compliance obligations (VAT, Tax and CIPC)
