Financial Director - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Our client, a long established, profitable group of 3 principal companies seeks a Financial Director to oversee the financial operations of the group.

POSITION INFO:
Job Specification
Developing and implementing financial strategies and policies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Managing the company’s cash flow and ensuring that adequate funds are available to meet the company’s obligations
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws
Providing financial analysis and guidance to the company’s management team
Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
Leading and developing the finance team

Minimum Requirements
Relevant accounting degree and proven experience in a senior Financial Management or Director capacity
Experience in managing a finance team
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within a contract management or similar industry preferred
Experience within an engineering related context highly advantageous
