POSITION INFO:
Internal Controls
Ensure accurate reconciliation across payment channels, automate reconciliation processes, and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance
Financial Reporting
Oversee financial reporting cycles, monitor key metrics, and provide insights to support decision-making while ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Cash Flow Management
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and funding strategies to maintain liquidity and optimize costs
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Tax & Compliance
Ensure compliance with tax regulations across jurisdictions, oversee tax filings, and lead external audits
Additional Support
Assist with fundraising, investor relations, M&A activities, and provide financial insights for strategic initiatives

Skills & Experience:
Registered with a professional body ie. CA(SA)
A minimum of 5 years experience in a financial Management role
Fintech industry experience is highly beneficial
Team management experience

Qualification:
CA(SA)
CFA highly beneficial
