SUMMARY:

Financial Controller
An opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive strategic planning. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and team leadership. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of US GAAP, and proficiency in financial systems. CA(SA) preferred.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in financial management and reporting? We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

? Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Conduct financial analysis to improve profitability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

? Budgeting & Forecasting

Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for strategic business decisions.

? Risk Management & Compliance

Maintain compliance with local and international financial regulations.
Coordinate external audits and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Manage the Cap Table and related requirements.

? Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.

? Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor a junior accountant, fostering professional growth and efficiency.

What You Bring:

âï¸ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA.SA preferred).
âï¸ 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a senior role.
âï¸ Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
âï¸ Proficiency in financial software (QuickBooks is a plus).
âï¸ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
âï¸ Strong leadership and communication abilities.
