An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Financial Controller to take charge of the financial management of a portfolio of properties and companies. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytical professional who thrives on problem-solving, risk management, and financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial function, including reconciliations between operating systems, ledgers, and financial reports
Managing accruals, payments, and financial transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Overseeing budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
Providing financial guidance to property management teams
Ensuring tax compliance, VAT calculations, and adherence to SARS deadlines
Preparing financial statements, liaising with auditors, and ensuring all reporting requirements are met
Cash flow forecasting and managing fund transfers

Key Requirements:

BCom degree or equivalent (Honours preferred)
Strong experience in financial management within the property sector
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
Ability to manage risk, compliance, and financial governance effectively
Proficiency in financial systems such as AX and Broll would be advantageous
