Our client, a prominent player in the commodity trading industry, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee and enhance their financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and risk management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-pressure environment, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of financial markets.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Background in dealing with foreign currencies, commodity trading, or hedging would be an added advantage
Caseware

Qualifications:

Minimum BCom Hons
Additional certifications in financial risk management or trading will be an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
Management accounts
Taxation
Preparation of annual financial statements
IFRS compliance
