SUMMARY:
Leading FMCG company is currently recruiting for a Financial Control Manager, responsible to support with the end-to-end control agenda including month-end reporting and tracking AR & pricing. The scope will also include the full claims processing of co-packers (review, validation and settlement)

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

Manage end to end claims process of 14 co-packers across the Africa region
Budget management
Mange full and final settlements
Review monthly P&L accounts relevant to claim payments
Manage year-end process (review accruals and data analysis for reporting submissions)
Track and reconcile monthly FIFO analysis
Lead financial reporting cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually) for the Business Unit including preparation for management reviews
Lead period close control activities including journal preparation and incorporating analysis into cause of change including an articulation of key drivers for variances
Lead monthly review of management accounts ensuring accuracy and completion
Drive disciplines leading to accurate and timely reporting for Africa entities
Closely manage cash flow position of the respective entities to ensure adequate forex and liquidity
Manage the Commercial Control (D&A, A&M and S&D) to ensure compliance to company policies
Management of co-packer inventory and cost control activities in line with policies
Conduct financial analysis and insights for management decision making

Requirements

Post Graduate degree in Finance (CIMA / CA an advantage)
Experience with Africa markets
SAP (preferably)
