Seeking a Finance BI Analyst – Transform Data into Actionable Insights

POSITION INFO:

About the Role:

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Finance BI Analyst to join our client''s dynamic team. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights directly influencing strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Validation:
- Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis.
Financial and Statistical Analysis:
- Perform detailed analyses to uncover trends and actionable insights, focusing on business performance metrics and financial data.
Visualization and Reporting:
- Create dynamic visualizations, dashboards, and detailed reports to communicate findings effectively.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights that align with business goals.
Accounting System Integration:
- Extract and analyze financial data from systems like Sage, Pastel, and Microsoft Dynamics.
Data Integrity and Compliance:
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data, aligning outputs with accounting and financial standards.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and reduce inefficiencies.

Technical Skills:

Data Analysis Tools: Advanced Excel, SQL, Python or R.
Accounting Software: Sage, Pastel, Microsoft Dynamics.
Data Visualization Tools: Power BI, Tableau.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and present insights for strategic decision-making.
Exceptional communication skills to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.

Experience:

3- years of related experience.
Previous experience in a finance or accounting environment is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with automation of financial reporting processes and regulatory compliance.
