Our Client in Kenilworth Cape Town is looking for an experience Financial Accountant with 3-4 plus years post qualification experience to take up a senior role within their business. You must be SAIPA or SAICA registered NON NEGOTIABLE

POSITION INFO:

Financial Accountant SAIPA / SAICA Kenilworth Cape Town

Our Client in Kenilworth Cape Town is looking for an experience Financial Accountant with 3-4 plus years post qualification experience to take up a senior role within their business. You must be SAIPA or SAICA registered NON NEGOTIABLE

Salary up to R 55000pm CTC – (office-based work)

Min Qualification and requirements

Degree in the following BCom, BCompt, BAcc

You must be registered at one of the following SAICA or SAIPA

A minimum of 3 plus years post SAIPA SAICA experience NON NEGOTIABLE

Proven ability in Sage One Payroll (30 staff) and Sage One Accounting System would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Financial Accounting of A small finance department

Financial management. – Financial control of the Head Office and co-ordinate the financial activities

Overseeing and Managing the Financial Department with 1 other staff members (small but busy)

Budgeting – Oversee the overall budgeting preparation, financial management and financial monitoring processes.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

Ensure that the financial reports are prepared and delivered on time.

Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness.

Financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.

Make sure annual financial statements are prepared and are appropriate before submission to the Board for ratification.

Ensure accurate calculation and distribution of salaries and other benefits to employees.

Perform the monthly Payroll run on the Payroll system (Bookkeeper to assist) 30 staff

Oversee and monitoring of Monthly EMP201 reconciliation and submissions

Oversee and Perform VAT submissions for all entities

Managing EMP501 reconciliations and submission

Preparation and submission of IRP5’s

Legal and regulatory

Review annual budgets and recommend any changes if needed.

Assist in account payable and receivable activities.

Audit – Prepare the financial system and documentation for the external annual audit.

Attend Executive Board meetings and give action to decisions related to matters of finance.

Liaise with auditors in relation to preparing for annual general audit.
