POSITION INFO:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Accountant to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the Group's growth through robust financial management. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a multi-entity Group and contribute to a prestigious family enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Prepare trial balance sheets, perform reconciliations, and ensure that all records align.
Draft financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
Handle external regulatory reporting requirements and submissions.
Participate in annual external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
Provide a detailed analysis of financial data to support decision-making.
Prepare income tax calculations and ensure timely submission.
Oversee payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to ad hoc projects that drive operational improvements and growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

CA(SA) is essential!!
Proficiency in Sage 300 or MS Dynamics is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, ideally within a multi-entity environment.
Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and audit processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team setting.
