POSITION INFO:

Our client, a global leader in the blockchain and crypto space, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. This role offers the chance to apply your financial expertise in a rapidly evolving industry while being part of a company renowned for innovation and growth.

Duties:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations with precision and compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage blockchain-based transactions and crypto-related accounting
Collaborate with internal teams to refine financial strategies
Maintain and reconcile financial records aligned with blockchain standards
Provide strategic financial insights to support business performance

Education and Experience:

BCom Degree with an excellent academic track record
SAICA/SAIPA articles would be advantageous
Practical exposure to blockchain, Web3, or cryptocurrency finance
A genuine passion for crypto and blockchain technology - whether through trading, research, or hands-on experience in the space
