Calling all CA(SA)s! My client, a large manufacturing company based in Vanderbijlpark, is looking for a Senior Financial and Cost Accountant. This position comes with a succession plan to grow the incumbent into the Financial Manager role with the next year. If you have knowledge of costing within a financial department then read on. You will be providing financial and commercial support.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Income tax and deferred tax

Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives
Manage the commercial process and ensure client costing and profitability is maintained and credit risk of clients is managed and understood
Manage, monitor and report on budget variances in order to maximise financial performance

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

CA(SA)

Experience:

2 – 3 years post articles experience
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience in Microsoft applications

Skills & Competencies:

Strong financial acumen
Sense of urgency
Can take initiative
Strong leader
