Financial Accountant – Cape Town

Are you an ambitious Financial Accountant with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering accurate financial reports? We are looking for someone to oversee financial operations and contribute to the company’s financial success. In this role, you will handle everything from monthly reconciliations to tax compliance, ensuring financial information is complete and timely.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain financial data accuracy, including overseeing bank reconciliations and preparing monthly financial packs.
Manage statutory and regulatory returns, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive business improvements.
Assist with audits and tax submissions, providing strategic financial insights along the way.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CA, CIMA, or SAIPA
2-3 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally in a multinational setting.
Strong understanding of financial principles, tax compliance, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
