SUMMARY:
One of my clients, who is a competitor in the transport and freight space, is expanding and are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
My client is focused on providing tailor-made transport and freight solutions to its clients throughout SA. Since their inception nearly two decades ago, they have demonstrated immense growth and continue to dominate market share in the logistics space.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for heading up the full accounting function.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role – Must have a background in supply chain/logistics/transport
BCom
SAIPA or SAICA articles – advantageous
Experience on SAP

Key Responsibilities:

Full finance function
General ledger up to trial balance
VAT submissions and calculations
Cashbook management
Reconciling fixed asset register
Foreign and local creditors
