Finance and Accounting Manager

Lead my client's financial strategy and drive excellence as their next Finance and Accounting Manager!

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to lead their finance division and ensure the smooth operation of key departments including finance, cost accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales, and planning.

This role is critical in driving financial excellence, compliance, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

This role is based in Midrand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the finance division, including consolidated reporting, cost accounting, and department planning.
• Lead finance projects and drive cost-cutting initiatives across the organization.
• Manage company secretarial functions for the holding company and subsidiaries, ensuring corporate governance compliance.
• Oversee the Treasury function, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and regional Treasury Centre reporting.
• Implement and maintain US GAAP, and IFRS controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate monthly accounting closings, ensuring timely division reporting and management of closing deadlines.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax risk, including VAT, PAYE, SDL, UIF, CIT, and customs duties.
• Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring policy design and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with top management to assess and improve control systems, ensuring global alignment and policy consistency.

• BCom in Accounting or Finance related.
• CIMA Qualified would be an advantageous.
• 5 to 7 years managerial experience.
• Electronics or Manufacturing industry is advantageous.
