Finance Specialist

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading agriculture technology company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Specialist to join their team. You will be an experienced accountant with fruit export industry expertise to help develop and optimize our financial module. This role focuses on streamlining transactions, ensuring compliance, and tailoring processes for the fresh produce sector. Strong skills in reconciliation, invoicing, and compliance are essential, and product management experience is a plus.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
You, the successful candidate, will be responsible, yet not limited to the following duties:
Product Development Strategy: Work closely with development and product teams to integrate accurate and efficient financial workflows into the transact module, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and export industry regulations
User-Focused Design: Perform market and user research to uncover challenges in financial processes within the fruit trade, improving the module to provide smooth, automated workflows for users
Financial Operations Expertise: Use industry-specific accounting knowledge to create robust features for reconciliation, invoicing, account sales, and managing accounts receivable/payable
Internal Controls and Compliance: Implement and oversee internal controls to enhance compliance, support audits, and reduce financial risks
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the key liaison for stakeholders, including export agents, service providers, and regulators, ensuring alignment on compliance, documentation, and reporting needs

Skills & Experience:
Fruit export industry experience nonnegotiable
Regulatory compliance knowledge

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field
