POSITION INFO:
A leading company in the i-gaming sector is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee its operational financial activities. This role requires expertise in financial management, tax compliance, and B-BBEE compliance, ensuring the company's financial systems align with industry regulations and standards.
Duties:
- Financial Management:
- Manage daily accounting tasks like accounts receivable and payable.
- Prepare invoices, payments, and journal entries.
- Assist with budgeting and cash flow.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- File VAT and statutory returns on time.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the budget process and update forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and cash flow.
- Audits and Payments:
- Assist with audits and ensure policies are followed.
- Manage payments and expenses to maintain good cash flow.
- Improvements and Stakeholder Management:
- Suggest process improvements.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders for compliance.
Qualifications and Experience Required:- CA(SA) accreditation is essential
- 2-4 years of commercial experience
- Experience in B-BBEE compliance and financial management, ideally in the i-gaming sector
Key Skills and Competencies:- Knowledge of South African IFRS for small- and medium-sized entities.
- Experience with tax, payroll taxes, and VAT.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
