POSITION INFO:
A leading company in the i-gaming sector is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee its operational financial activities. This role requires expertise in financial management, tax compliance, and B-BBEE compliance, ensuring the company's financial systems align with industry regulations and standards.

Duties:

• Financial Management:
  • Manage daily accounting tasks like accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare invoices, payments, and journal entries.
  • Assist with budgeting and cash flow.
• Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
  • File VAT and statutory returns on time.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Lead the budget process and update forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and cash flow.
• Audits and Payments:
  • Assist with audits and ensure policies are followed.
  • Manage payments and expenses to maintain good cash flow.
• Improvements and Stakeholder Management:
  • Suggest process improvements.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for compliance.

• CA(SA) accreditation is essential
• 2-4 years of commercial experience
• Experience in B-BBEE compliance and financial management, ideally in the i-gaming sector

• Knowledge of South African IFRS for small- and medium-sized entities.
• Experience with tax, payroll taxes, and VAT.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in financial systems.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
