Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
On the search for a Financial Manger for one of my leading wholesale/distribution clients, in Durban.

POSITION INFO:
My client is a well-established retail chain specializing in a wide range of office supplies, furniture, and stationery products. Known for offering both high-quality products and a broad selection, it caters to businesses, educational institutions, and individual consumers. With a strong presence in the retail sector, the organization provides both in-store and online shopping options, making it a go-to destination for office-related needs. The company is committed to customer satisfaction, offering expert advice and personalized services to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Additionally, it is recognized for its longstanding history and consistent innovation in the industry.

The Financial Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will oversee a dynamic team comprising of nearly twenty staff.

Some of the key responsibilities for the role will be overseeing and reviewing a range of essential financial functions, including, but not limited to, annual financial statements, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

Education:

• BCom
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role
