SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager will oversee the end-to-end finance operations, conduct financial planning and analysis, manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and improve financial systems and processes. The position reports to the General Manager and supervises a team of three.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting (30%)
- Prepare accurate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
- Review reconciliations and management reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting (15%)
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and monitor variances.
Analytics, Internal Controls & Compliance (15%)
- Conduct profitability and cost control analysis.
- Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to tax regulations.
Team Leadership (30%)
- Manage and mentor a finance team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external).
- Foster professional development within the team.
Systems & Process Improvements (10%)
- Enhance financial systems and align with best practice organization''s objectives
  Requirements:
  - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (mandatory); professional membership (SAICA/CIMA).
  - Experience:
    - 10+ years in finance (4+ years managerial).
    - Industrial and manufacturing sector expertise.
    - Experience with IFRS, VAT (including foreign currency and exports), and annual financial statements.
  - Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (Xero advantageous); strong leadership and analytical skills.

  - Internal: Senior management, HR, Operations, Marketing, Procurement.
  - External: Auditors, SARS, banks, regulatory bodies.
  This position requires strategic leadership and a results-driven approach to optimize financial operations and support the organization''s objectives.
