Finance Manager

SUMMARY:
We are assisting our client in recruiting for a Finance manager position.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• Timeous and Accurate preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed analysis for the multiple entities
• Manage the daily and forecasted cash flow planning, encompassing processing of the daily payments through the multiple online banking platforms.
• Preparation of the Income statements, Balance sheets, Budgets setting with financial targets and the variance analysis reports.
• You will be responsible for statutory payments and compliance related matters including but not limited to VAT, tax compliance, CIPC and financial reporting, regulatory filings, exchange control regulations, customs and trade compliance, documentation and record-keeping.
• Maintain and update the master costing model by supporting the COO in setting pricing structures for products based on latest costing model and make appropriate changes in consultation with the COO
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
• Review expenses and cost management
• Inventory Cost Management and analysis - Continuously review and improve stock and cost management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in stock control and stock cost management.
• Strategic Support - Support the COO and CEO in strategic matters, providing proposals and recommendations on CAPEX and key asset acquisitions and funding applications to enhance the company's growth and profitability.
• Manage the BI reporting and financial dashboards for reporting to the COO and CEO, this includes analyzing of the financial and operational data including sales,customer performance tracking, financial metrics and other relevant data.
• As the Finance Manager you will assume responsibility for supervising a team within the finance department, which includes the Debtors department, Procurement & Creditors department, Financial Administrator and other support staff. This oversight extends to both the team based at the head office and the various cost centers throughout the business.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the relationship with external auditors and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of the Annual Financial Statements.
• Communication and field visits with external stakeholders viz. Bankers, Creditors, Customers etc.
• Carry out any other functions directed by the CEO and COO relating to the financial management and Strategic responsibilities.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is essential

• Matric + bachelor's degree in accounting or any relevant qualification in finance
