JOB DESCRIPTION

The Waste Control division currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and organized Finance Manager to join their team. The position requires an efficient individual who is able to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Review and check all debtors invoicing to ensure that it is accurate and complete
Approval of sales order quotes
Reconciliation of complex accounts
Communicating with customers regarding queries
Manage, develop, mentor and lead the finance team
Approval of purchase orders
Bank reconciliation
Implement and maintain Financial controls
Internal auditing and ensuring completeness of source documents
Provide regular updates on departmental performance

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

Relevant degree or Accounting Diploma qualification
A minimum of 10 years work experience in a finance or financial administration position
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial position
Experience in using ACCPAC is an added advantage
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel knowledge is a must
