POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking for Finance Co-ordinator to join the team perform general accounting & financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• VAT audit co-ordination and finalisation

• Preparing and Conducting Vat Audits with Ministry Of Finance.

• Co-ordination of local authorities’ documentation (IRP5’s for employees, Social Security, Medical Aid etc) and recons for submission.

• Full co-ordination of the Financial Audit.

• Communicate all queries to management timeously, and in writing - give a weekly report on queries

• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Finance Management

• Processing provision journals

• Processing prepaid expense journals

• Load daily rates (USD & EUR) in Finance System

• Vat checking

• Liaising with Auditors during Interim and Final Audits

• Assist in the preparation of branch budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor budget performance and report any variances to management.

• Review Unallocated Report Balance Sheet & Suppliers

• Run and send age analysis to Reporting Manager

• Trial Balance report pack

• Customer & Supplier Age Analysis

• Cash flow Projections

• Review monthly P&L reports with comments for the Country Manager

• Assisting with the Monthly PIL reconciliation

• Credit Notes

• Reviewal and follow up with Operations for invoices/credit disbursements

Skills:

• Excellent accounting knowledge

• Proven hands-on experience in used accounting system

• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office - Solid experience in MS Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, charts, etc.) required

• Team player

• Self-starter

• Ability to function without constant supervision

• Decision making skills

• Precise and dedicated

• Be able to work in a pressurized environment

• Be able to adapt to a changing environment

• Good knowledge of accounting standards, statutory, regulatory and legal requirements

• High degree of conceptual and analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), fluent in English

• Ability to take initiatives and follow-up with details

Qualifications:

• Relevant professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA

• 2 -3 years experience in a Financial role

• Higher Certificate/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
