SUMMARY:
Masa Outsourcing is currently looking for a Finance Clerk with a logistics background. The clerk will assist the COO with finance-related duties as designated. The candidate will also liaise with a range of individuals to perform daily tasks. The Finance Clerk will carry out duties confidentially to not compromise the financial records of the Company

POSITION INFO:
Requirements and skills

o Grade 12
o A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.
A minimum of 3 years finance related experience
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Excellent oral, and written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to reconcile accounts accurately and timely.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Customer focus with high working standards.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Honest, reliable, and professional integrity.

Responsibilities / Skill:

Preparing and processing financial documents such as bills, receipts, and invoices.
Updating and maintaining the database, financial records, and filing systems.
Tracking and monitoring financial transactions.
Reviewing financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy.
Reporting financial discrepancies, errors, and customer complaints.
Compiling financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents, as needed.
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filling out forms, filing, and emails.
Ensures that all administration is up to date i.e. queries, recons & payment requisitions.
Adhere to internal control procedures (e.g. invoices to be authorized)
Maintain and archive all financial records, contracts, payments, and related correspondences.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, procedures, and regulations.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by the immediate supervisor or management.
