SUMMARY:
We have a position available for a Finance Clerk in the fruit industry. Fruit/agriculture experience essential.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in finance/accounting
More than 2 years experience in a finance or accounting role
Excel experience
Experience from fruit / export industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

Debtor and creditor reconciliations to ensure accuracy of outstanding receivables
Reconcile bank statements
Process supplier invoices
Ensure accurate allocation of costs to purchase orders
Verify invoices
Capture payments in the accounting system (matching payments to invoices)
Maintain timely receipt of supplier invoices and statements
Manage supplier correspondence and follow-up actions
Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments
Assist with the preparation of the annual audit
Manage filing systems for invoices and other financial documents
Process debit/credit card transactions
