SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to manage the financial activities of multiple business units within the group, focusing on fostering strategic client engagement and delivering robust financial insights.

POSITION INFO:
Reporting to the Cluster Finance Business Partner, this individual will be key in steering the financial health portfolio, ensuring profitability and growth across various structures.

A global leader in retail solutions, focusing on end-to-end customer experience and sales solutions that bridge the gap between brands and retailers. Founded in 1930s, and operates in more than 60 countries.

Their services include retail execution, sales solutions, brand activation, and data-driven insights, aimed at enhancing visibility, driving sales, and optimizing brand impact in stores.

Duties:

Client-Focused Financial Strategy: Engage external clients directly to align financial strategies, negotiate and optimize budgets, and ensure ROI-driven financial solutions.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual and project budgets, perform monthly forecasts, track and report variances, and support cluster leaders in financial planning.
Information & Financial Analysis: Act as a bridge between Finance and Operations, analysing and presenting data to help leaders optimize resources, improve efficiencies, and guide informed decision-making.
Risk & Compliance Management: Update risk reports, manage financial risks, and address outstanding debts with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor a Debit Card Administrator, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performing team environment.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting / Finance or Management Accounting
BCom Honours Accounting / Finance or Management Accounting
CA(SA) OR CIMA

Experience:

Completed SAICA - Audit experience is advantageous.
9-10 years of accounting experience
3 years in management accounting
3 years in a managerial role. Audit experience is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong financial and commercial acumen
Proficient in strategic and analytical thinking
Resilient and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities, detail orientation, and organizational awareness
Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and drive results
