Finance Business Analyst

SUMMARY:
My client, a reputable retailer,  is currently looking to appoint a Finance Business Analyst that will ensure that the Finance department’s systems and business processes align with industry standards and best-fit practices. This role is crucial for providing end-to-end support on business processes and technology solutions, ensuring operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications required:

• Degree in Finance or similar field
• Any further studies in information systems or finance is advantageous

• 5+ years’ experience within a systems/process or business analysis position
• Retail or Financial Services industry experience
• Have a strong understanding of accounting practices
• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software processes
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience in and a proven track record of work on large complex projects as project / business analyst lead
• Project management experience
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (scrum) and work practice
• Experience in using a business process management software such as Jira, Confluence, others.
• Managing and leading a team of business analysts

• Identify, propose, and implement new developments and improvements in business processes and technologies
• Document detailed business processes, functional specifications, and technical requirements
• Conduct testing, manage implementations, and provide post-implementation support
• Facilitate change management processes and conduct user training sessions
• Provide ongoing consulting and support to system users
• Oversee projects and ensure delivery milestones are met
