About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide (FGASA Level 2 / NQF4) to join our luxury safari lodge team. If you have a deep love for the wilderness, exceptional guiding skills, and enjoy creating unforgettable guest experiences, this is the perfect opportunity.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris, offering insightful and engaging experiences.
Interpret the natural environment, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts to guests.
Ensure guest safety and satisfaction while providing a top-tier safari experience.
Maintain and adhere to lodge and FGASA guiding standards.
Assist in conservation and lodge activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

FGASA Field Guide (NQF4) Certification
DEAT/LEDET/THETA Registered (or ability to register)
Valid First Aid Certificate
Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
Minimum one year guiding experience in a Big Five reserve preferred
Excellent communication and guest relations skills
Passion for conservation and wildlife education
