SUMMARY:
Masa Outsourcing is looking for a Factory Supervisor who will oversee the daily operations of the plastics manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves supervising staff, managing resources, and implementing processes to meet production targets.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Certifications in production management or Lean/Six Sigma will be advantageous.

3–5 years of supervisory experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, extrusion).
Proficiency in using production planning and ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding the process of extrusion within the plastics manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of bagging application and manufacturing.
Basic troubleshooting of bagging machines (side, vertical, and horizontal seal machines utilizing heated jaws and blades)
Basic understanding to perform maintenance on the machines
Ability to work with various plastic materials such as Polyprop etc.
Ability to work with various microns ranging from 10micron to 250micron

The duties of the candidate must include the following:

Setting of various printed and plain jobs
Monitoring production
Quality and basic Safety standards to be followed within the facility

Machines being used:

Vertical, side, horizontal sealing machines (similar to what we were looking for at Noodle King)

Machines use heated jaw application
Some machines also use cutting blades
Machines run on speed settings as well.
