Job Overview:

The Factory Foreman in the steel industry is a key managerial role responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily manufacturing operations within the steel production facility. Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight:

   • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing activities in the steel production plant.
   • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
   • Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and meet production targets.

2. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and motivate a team of production workers and technicians.
   • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a skilled and productive workforce.
   • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

3. Quality Control:

   • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality steel products.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Matric
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
