SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Facility Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Netherlands

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Technical qualification in Maintenance or Engineering.
Proven 2-10 years experience in facility maintenance supervision.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.

Duties and responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing maintenance staff and ensuring the facility remains in excellent condition.

Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and repair activities.
Manage maintenance staff, ensuring efficient task delegation and completion.
Inspect facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, for issues.
Coordinate external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
Monitor maintenance budgets and maintain accurate records.
