SUMMARY:
An international Group with a national footprint is looking for an experienced Facilities / Maintenance Manager and/or Senior Technician to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
This person will be expected to perform reactive and preventative maintenance tasks within the specific time-frames agreed to in the relevant SLA, at the acceptable quality standards and in compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage data centre activities from a facilities infrastructure perspective, e.g. power requirements and installations, HVAC daily health checks and maintain critical fire systems.
Oversee and manage domestic & fire water system and repairs.
Assist / coordinate Group facilities building projects, e.g. office moves, office fit outs, and infrastructure stallions.
Coordinate general maintenance.
Monitor and manage maintenance management critical plant and equipment, e.g. UPS, generators, lights, and fire systems.
Conduct OHS contractor’s safety induction and file inspections.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Formal certification in facilities management
Strong electrical system background - an advantage
5-10 years’ experience in a corporate / hospitality maintenance environment
